Shaping Space, Being Space; Lesser and Meta Performative Investigations

A residency, with a resulting panel and performance, at the Performing Arts Research Cluster (LePARC) of MILIEUX Insitute for Arts, Culture and Technology at Concordia

The SomaticPerformer Collective investigates habitation of space as it is, as a somatic experience, and as it is imagined. A primary theme is experiencing dimensional presence over time within a given space, and the performative dimension of this activity based on awareness and response. We will explore space as container and content, and somatically navigate our contents (skeleton, muscles, organs, glands, nervous system), as a means of transforming space into place.
